Harlow Town Ladies have been drawn at home in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Women’s Cup against St Ives Town.
The Hawks will face their third fellow-League side having already played Colney Heath and Bowers & Pitsea. The FA Cup journey began away to Runwell Sports as the Hawks progressed after a 6-0 win with braces from Liv Steele and Georgia Box as well as goals from Chloe Bassett and Daisy Jenkins. Another away game saw them face a tougher test against Colney Heath, scoring a 88th-minute winner to win 4-3. Despite going 2-1 up, Harlow had to fight back as goals from Georgia Box, Vikki Wotton, Liv Steele and Chloe Bassett were enough to see the Hawks through.
The last game in the cup, only on Sunday, saw Harlow progress past Bowers & Pitsea with a narrow win. A 78th-minute goal from Georgia Box was enough despite a resilient effort from the hosts.
The club are one win away from reaching the 3rd Qualifying Round for the second consecutive season after doing so during the 2019/20 season.
