New leaders as Alresford, Royals, Clacton and Tiptree all win

Saturday was a day for the home sides as Belle Vue were overtaken in the league table as they didn’t have a game. Alresford Colne Rangers Reserves, Dunmow Town, FC Clacton Reserves and Tiptree Jobserve were victorious.

Alresford sit 4th in the table following their 7-1 win over Holland A. A hattrick from Rob Czapla, a brace from Russel Mclean and goals from Lewis Hargreaves and Roger Smith helped the hosts onto a huge win as they closed in on the top of the league.

Tiptree Jobserve scored 5 as they beat Boxted Lodgers. Kevin Barham, Tommy Gregory and Glen Wiggett were all on target as the hosts leap-frogged Belle Vue to take top-spot.

FC Clacton Reserves sit 5th after their won over Gosfield United. Andreas Antoniou-Garcia scored a brace with Anthony Smith and Lyndon Bramhall also scoring as Clacton returned to action with a win.

Dunmow Town won their first game at Cressing Road, the home of Braintree Town as they edged Hedinghams United. A goal from Barrie Pullinger wasn’t enough as Mack Miskin and Gabriel Piorkowski scored for the hosts to come a quadruple of home wins. The win for the Royals sees them sit 7th, 7-points off the top.
