Burnham Ramblers vs May & Baker – Saturday 24th October, 3pm
Burnham Ramblers will welcome May & Baker to Leslie Field on Saturday. Ramblers find themselves 10th after 8-games, having played 2, drew 2 and lost 4. The hosts’ last game was a 4-3 win over Little Oakley whilst their opponents finally lifted themselves off the bottom with their first win of the season on Tuesday. They currently sit in 14th after 3-games, with a record of won 1, drew 1 and lost 1. A win for the hosts could take them as high as 7th whilst a victory for Bakers would see go as high as 11th with 4 or more games in-hand on the teams around them.
Coggeshall United vs Athletic Newham – Saturday 24th October, 3pm
Coggeshall United will welcome Athletic Newham to West Street on Saturday afternoon. Coggeshall sit 16th after 6-games, having won 1, drew 2 and lost 3. The Weavers lost their 3rd game of the season last weekend as they were beaten 2-1 by Barkingside. Their opponents find themselves 5th after 7-games having won 4 and drew 3. Newham were due to play midweek but their game was off due to the weather so their last match was almost 2-weeks ago as they beat Harwich 3-1. Coggeshall could find themselves up to 10th with a win but they face the only unbeaten team in the league. A win for Athletic could see them up to 2nd or even taking the lead at the top.
Frenford vs White Ensign – Saturday 24th October, 3pm
Frenford welcome White Ensign to the the Drive in one of the biggest games of the weekend. Frenford find themselves 2nd after 8-games, having won 5, drew 1 and lost 2 whilst White Ensign sit 4th having played 6-games, with a record of won 5 and lost 1. The host tasted defeat in their last game as they were beaten by Wormley Rovers last weekend whilst White Ensign won their last league game with a 5-1 win over Burnham Ramblers on the October 14 but were in Vase action 3-days later, beaten Whitton United 2-1. A win for Frenford could take them top or even keep close to Little Oakley whilst White Ensign could also find themselves top (should results go their way).
Hackney Wick vs Brimsdown – Saturday 24th October, 3pm
Hackney Wick will welcome Brimsdown to Spa Road, the home of Witham Town. The Wickers find themselves 13th after 8-games, having won 1, drew 2 and lost 5 whilst Brimsdown find themselves rock-bottom after 7-games, having won 1 and lost 6. The last game between these sides came last weekend in the reverse fixture with Hackney picking up their first win of the season with a 3-0 win. A win for Brimsdown could see them off the bottom as up to 11th whilst a win for Wickers could lift them up to 10th with only their second win of the season.
Harwich & Parkeston vs Barkingside – Saturday 24th October, 3pm
Harwich will welcome Barkingside to the Royal Oak on Saturday. The hosts find themselves 16th after 8-games, having drew 3 and lost 5. They are also the only side without a win this season and go up against 9th-placed Barkingside. ‘Side record sees them having won 3 and lost 4. Barkingside were victorious in their last game against Coggeshall United whilst Harwich were beaten by Benfleet. A first win for the hosts could boost them up to 11th whilst a win for ‘Side could see them move 1-place up the table.
Wivenhoe Town vs Benfleet – Saturday 24th October, 3pm
Wivenhoe Town will welcome Benfleet to the MEC Stadium. The Dragons find themselves 8th after 8-games, having won 3, drew 1 and lost 4 whilst their opponents sit in 6t after 7-games, with a record of won 4, drew 2 and lost 1. Wivenhoe’s last game saw them beat May & Baker 2-1 last weekend while Benfleet lost to the same opponent on Tuesday, their first loss of the season. A win for Town could take them up to 7th while a win for Benfleet could move them as high as 2nd-place.
