Tags remain top as Robins, Manor and Stansted all win

A Joe Gregory double in the second-half and a goal from Kiernan Hughes-Mason were enough as Hashtag United beat Clapton on Monday night . The win saw them remain top as they got their 8th win of the season and moved 5-points clear of 2nd-placed Cockfosters.

There were also wins for Sawbridgeworth Town, Southend Manor and Stansted. Sawbo had taken the lead early in the game from the spot. Emerson Mario D’Jar brought Bengal level before the break from a free-kick. Both sides were also down to 10 just before half-time. Bengal turned the game around after the break as Rachid Qist scored but two goals from the hosts put them ahead. Sporting had a chance to grab a point right at the death but a missed penalty in the 90th minute meant Sawbridgeworth won the game.

Dimitri Hatzimouratis had given Saffron Walden the lead and looked set to take the points with a 1-0 win. An 88th minute equaliser from Harry Rodgers brought Manor level before a 90+10th minute Penalty from Ben Allen kept all 3-points in Southend. There was a similar story with Takeley vs Stansted. Lewis Deamer had given Takeley the lead with a header before Michael Salako brought Stansted level in the second half. Connor Hammond won the derby with a goal in the 88th minute. Takeley had ended the game 9-men following two red cards.
